Hi,

I’m Teresa López, creative director and the face behind Dream Create Designs. I was born in Chicago, Illinois but was raised in Texas practically my entire life. I am a firm believer that chocolate calories don’t count, that yoga pants shouldn’t be just for yoga, and that messy buns are a perfect hairstyle to have even if it is for 7 days in a row. I have one beautiful extremely talented 13 year old daughter named Sarai. And… she practically runs my life (lol). When I’m not at her dance practices, school events, or basketball games, you can catch me glued to my desk crafting with my Cricut machine and creating beautiful custom party décor. I’ve always had a love for crafting. But, I really dug into it soon after my daughter was born. I found my passion for making one of a kind party décor as I prepared for her birthday parties throughout the years. I have a vivid memory of her asking me for a “pineapple” themed party one year (who’s kid does that, right?!). Anyways, there I went hopping from one store to the next in search for any and ALL things pineapple, and soon realized not one store had anything of that sort. THIS is the moment that it all became clear to me. I had to make my OWN.

Shortly after her party I wondered how many other people out there were also dealing with the same dilemma I encountered. That lead me to where I am today. I love creating unique pieces to fit your unique personality. We weren’t all made from the same mold so why should your party décor be?! You were born to stand out!

Over the past 10+ years I’ve had the pleasure of working and meeting wonderful people who gave me the opportunity to venture out and discover my true passion. I’ve dipped my toes in various events, from preparing wedding ceremony floral arrangements, to custom nursery décor, to wedding dessert tables, and of course, decorating a variety of events for my family and close friends.

Dream Create Designs officially went full throttle in Spring 2018. It’s been scary, to say the least. But, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My goal is to provide you with custom décor that meets your expectations. I strongly believe that an event should speak to your guests and show them who you are. Don’t settle for store bought items that you will most likely toss in the trash later. You DO have an option, go CUSTOM. What better way to do just that than with your very own personalized decorations. To me, it is so much more than “just” a cake topper or banner. With every new creation comes an opportunity for me to show you a glimpse of who I am. Every order has a unique touch and a piece of my heart that goes into even the smallest of details.
